Announcing my first book

Gratitude and disbelief

If someone had told me five years ago that I'd write a book, I would've laughed it off.

Those who watched my Do Lectures talk in 2023 might understand why.

Yet here I am, announcing the publication of DO Nourish: How to eat for resilience - available January 2025.

Honestly, I'm still in disbelief – never in a million years did I imagine this would be me.

I think it'll only feel real when I hold the book in my hands.

This journey wouldn't have been possible without so many incredible people.

I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who supported and believed in me along the way.

Inspiration behind DO Nourish: How to eat for resilience

The world of nutrition advice can feel overwhelming.

This book is my way of trying to overcome this frustration. With so many messages about what not to eat, I meet many people confused about what they should be eating.

As a practicing nutritionist, I've seen first hand how this confusion impacts people's health and wellbeing.

So I've taken a different approach throughout my book. Instead of focusing on restrictions, I emphasise what your body truly needs. I break down the essentials of healthy eating in a way that's easy to understand and apply to your busy life. It's not about complex science or fancy ingredients – it's about making small, sustainable changes that add up to big health benefits.

I've included a flexible 6-week plan that you can tailor to your needs and preferences, but more importantly, I aim to give you the confidence to find the right balance for you.

My goal – inspired by the countless individuals I've worked with – is to help you feel assured about your food choices, boost your energy, and improve your focus.

Whether you're looking to overhaul your diet or just need a reliable guide for getting back on track, this book is designed to empower you to take control of your health through simple, practical nutrition. It's all about making healthy eating feel doable and enjoyable, helping you fall back in love with your food by understanding and providing what your body needs.
